John O’Gorman has been flying for more than fifty years and has experience in world travel and maximizing value through creative strategies. John did more than 170 flights this past year and has reached top status with many airlines and hotel programs. He spends most of his travels finding and photographing amazing images of world destinations. John also has extensive experience and knowledge in reselling for points and miles.
Flying the very first Boeing 747 from the USA, the first from New York City and the last under Northwest’s colors, he has been an aviation fan for many decades. He grew up in the first class cabins of Pan Am, TWA and Braniff; all just memories today.
He also has come to be known as the Mega Mileage Run guy who has utilized his computer skills to tweak even the most stubborn of airline programs in efforts to maximize elite qualifying miles at incredible values.
He has taken that knowledge and applies it towards building custom-designed Mileage Runs for clients of Juicy Miles. John also guest writes for Rene de Lambert’s RenesPoints blog, with an emphasis on the Delta program.
His blog, laptoptravel, keeps travelers alerted to fare and travel deals while commenting on current events upon the travel landscape.
